Coin Holder Replacement Options

I know that this question has already been posed in the past, but are there any new ideas of what to do with that useless coin holder on the 4x2's?

Yes, search. There is a long thread about replacing the coin holder with a tranny temp guage, which I did. Others put a cell phone holster there. The coin holder just yanks out. There may be a wire plugged to the back of the coin holder. This wire is assembly line installed for a 4X4 switch. Just pull the wire off and friction tape the connector for safety.
