I quail hunt like I'm married to it and participate in it like it's a second religion for me.

Also I shoot doves for polishing up before quail season comes in, I bag several pheasants a year and often a few chukars. I squirrel hunt as well, but mainly to work on my stalking ability and fine shooting. I look about like a sniper when I'm squirrel hunting, decked out head to toe in camo, my Ruger 10/22 scoped up and I got a 9mm strapped on the side of my chest and a large knife the length of my thigh strapped on my thigh.
But I haven't gone as far as wearing an armadillo helmet!

I hunt everything from doves to deer. I grew up hunting quail in north La. I miss watching a pair of bird dogs working a field.

I've always maintained that sportsmen like us are the true conservationists. My dad instilled the responsibility of being a good outdoorsman and hunter at a very early age. I don't have kids of my own but I've tried to instill that in my nephews.

Up here in Washington State I hunt for deer, elk, duck, pheasant, and grouse.

I hunt duck here in Iowa, on the Mississippi River. Also at Coralville Resivoiur which is about 10 miles from my house. I hunt Pheasant, rabbit and squirrell in the winter. And I hunt Coyote all summer at my friend's farms. I actually do quite a bit of hunting, now that I think about it.

I'm a pretty new hunter, from northwest Ohio...Fremont. I went out for deer last season on our own property for the first time, we own 4 acres of mostly woods surrounded by farmland. Used my Mossberg 500, since we can't rifle hunt in Ohio, but unfortunatly didn't geta deer. I also hunt rabbit, and would like to try duck/goose, I love shootin clays. Just bought a bow this year and plan on deer hunting in S.E. Ohio with it this year.

Clays are awesome fun, but I can't seem to hit ducks or geese with a darn. Just remember to hold in front and swing with the bird. One thing about geese, I forget how big they are and end up not holding out far enough in front because I think they are closer than they are, since they are larger than the pheasants than I usually hunt.

When we were younger and lived in Pennsylvania I told the wife not to bother going to my funeral if it fell on the first day of buck season because I wouldn't be there. I wouldn't miss first day for any reason.

Never hunted before, but we just moved to Tx and probably will partake in it this next season. Now all I have to do is get that .30-30 tuned...in a couple of years when we get really good with the bow, we might try our hands at bowhunting too.

OK, I admit it...I'm not a hunter- but I sure seem to hang around an awful lot of people who do. Deer and wild turkey in Eastern Oregon's been the venue for the last couple of years, and I don't need much of an excuse to pack up the truck and head out of town.

If it's huntable here in NW MN, chances are I've hunted it. From Deer to ducks, I've hunted them all. It's one of my favorite things to do. I hunt by archery, firearms, and muzzleloader. I'm gearing up for our bear season right now which opens Sep. 1st. I started baiting last weekend and have had both my bait sites hit already. Can't wait....
