Need Help Asap

Here's my problem:

While driving today the check engine light cam eon and I lost 75+% of power.

99 F250 PSD only mods are filter and 4" exhausut turbo back.

I'm thinking CPS or ICS but I would hat to dump money on the wrong sensor and I need my truck. I have check the harness into (did not pull valve covers) the vavle covers. Had fuel when I opened the seperator. I need this on the road tomorrow. Please help.

CPS is the first and cheapest attempt to fix if you don't have scanner to diagnose.

if the check engine light is on you need to get the code number to begin finding the problem. usually cam sensor is a run no run not lose power thing. go to autozone and have them pull the code for you.

When this happened to my 95 it was one of the wiring harnesses that runs from the valve cover gasket plug to the injectors / glow plugs on the right bank of cylinders. If you remove the oil cap and smell you can usually tell for that side of the engine anyway - you will smell an electrical/burned rubber smell along with the oil.
