you all know the old saying, "chrome dont get you home." but if you get a set of fenders with the same trim on it,you wouldn't have to fill,or grind on them at all. i know its getting hard to find parts that are in good shape, much less parts that match your trucks trim package, but its a huge plus when you do.i managed to find 2 doors ,complete with all the glass, inner door panels, door handles, locks, keys, and mirrors, and the proper chrome trim for only40 bucks!!! just keep your eyes and ears open, there are deals out there, just got to keep looking.-billy
I went to the picknpull on saturday and found some fenders, one was off a 79 Bronco, and another of a 77 F250, they fit perfect, and best of all, they're dent free! Got them for 40 bucks, half off sale weekend! But they both have the trim so I'll just have to grind those tabs down, should be realativly easy.
