fender removal?
I just bought a 2000 f250 diesel, picking it up this weekend. It's been hit in the lt front fender (actually, the fender hit a cement pole). The bumper and fender are smashed in. I need to remove the fender and bumper, and then replace the front bumper, left front fender, headlight, marker lights, etc. Are there any tricks to getting the fender and bumper off? How about mounting the lights into the fender? If anyone knows of a lt front fender, preferably in red, complete with lights, etc, in Norther California, let me know. A matching hood would be even better! Pic of lt front damage in my avatar. Thanks for any ideas.

looking at the front of the truck there are 2 bolts on the outside of each tow hook. an if you look on the side just in front of the tire at side of frame there should be a bracket going from bumper to frame. that is how it is set up on my 05 yours shouldn't be that different.

Can't see much from your avatar,but it 's a bit more to be done on it then you're describing. You probably need new header panel to hold the lights in. And radiator support might be bent. Probably more things is smashed then you think.
First get it ,make a list of what's broken and come back .
At the same time I'd do 05 conversion. Had similar damage and didn't cost much more.
The job it self is no brainer, bolts and clips +paint.
