In Michigan - if you are involved in an accident - you'll be surprized what they check for. Including fuel color - if you are leaking from an accident -red - then you will pay a hazmat fee because some red is high sulfur fuel. depending on where purchased.

I use transmission fluid to clean the injectors, can they tell the difference with red fuel?
