engine cutting out when accelerating
My 1994 Ranger 4.0 4X4 SC started 'cutting out' when accelerating recently. I replaced the air filter and had the injecters cleaned but it is still happening. Any ideas? Could be the fuel filter but I'm having trouble finding it to replace. Thanks for any suggestions.

Fuel filter is a good item to suspect. It's located on a bracket bolted to the left frame rail, approx under the left foot of the driver. Remove the lines, bracket, and C clamp holding the filter to the bracket, install in reverse of this sequence. It would also be of benefit to pull codes; it's quick and easy.
