Door problems
Hey all,
I have an '04 f250 psd 4x4 with 6" edge. I just returned from the dealer for some repairs under warranty. One of these problems they did not fix. My passenger door is emitting a low sounding "popping" noise as I go down the road. It is driving me insane. I feel that the door seal is the culprit. The noise intensifies the more I drive (no noise for a while, then noise all the time as I'm driving). The dealer claims it is my edge suspension or my bolt on steps. Bull*****! The noise diminishes when I push on the door as my wife is driving it. Does anyone have a fix for this?????????
The dealer is obviously not going to fix it. HELP?????
Coincidentally, whenever I close either of the front doors from more than half way they sound like old car doors on old seals. Anyone else's sound like this when there doors are semi-slammed?
