Yepper, sure have but it was quite awhile back. They did a custom race engine for my father-in-law and my jet boat. It was a 385 block, bored 30 over, 429 steelite crank, and a bunch of other goodies. We turned that engine at 10,000 rpm and no that is no typing error. I had never turned a big block that fast before or since. My dad-in-law died in a private plane crash and I sold the boat. It run thru the clocks in the low 8's at 143 mph best time/speed. Obviously, they are turning the quarter mile a lot quicker now. But they did a great build back then.
