Is Purple Power safe to use under the hood of my PSD? I have an oily film all over the tube going from the air filter to the turbo. I have tightned all of the hose clamps and she still leaks a little. I have seen some use Simple Green also. I also read somewhere that some cleaners will etch aluminum. Any ideas on best degreaser?
MmHmm, that oily stuff is most likely the blowby coming from the crankcase. The CCV mod will fix that....clean it up with simple green...then it'll be as clean as a whistle.
