I don't know if you've gotten your truck fixed yet but I'll chime in. I have a 2003 that stalled much like yours, with no predictability at 35000 mi. +/-. The dealer put on alot of miles test driving it and couldn't duplicate it. They gave me a Vehicle Data Reporter so I could take a snapshot of the CPU the next time it happened to me. Of course, it stalled the very next morning but they gave me a faulty VDR so they had no trace of what happened. They put more miles on the truck and still found nothing. They then gave it back to me with a functional VDR (I tested it before I left the dealership). The truck ran great for 3 days and it stalled again. I tried cranking it over while pushing the VDR button so there was no issue of them not finding something. They sent the information straight to Detroit and said it was 99.9% FICM. They said if the FICM didn't fix it, they were authorized to replace the entire FICM wiring harness. I'd like to say that fixed it completely but since then I lost 2 injectors back to back (due to bad FICM replacement). The truck has run flawless ever since I got the second FICM.
