Temperature sending unit on 460

Temperature sending unit on 460
Can someone please tell me where the factory temperature sending unit is on a 96 efi 460? Thanks i got a new guage to put in and im not sure where it is and they say to take that one out and put a adapter in there.

my coolant ports for the sending units are on the front of the intake.....one by the T-stat and one furthur right on the intake.....i personally use the one next to the T-stat so you can see at what temp the Tstat opens by watching for fluxuations on the guage......plus thats where the hottest water in the engine is at, waiting to get past the T-stat and out to the radiator....
