Hi,
I have a '77 Early Bronco with a C4 3 speed Transmission. I have a small leak at the shift shaft. I have heard there is a o-ring and possibly a lip seal that can fail and cause this problem. If so, can I repair the seal or seals without removing the transmission and do I have to remove the pan and valve body? Also where can I get these seals from? As I do not want to buy a complete overhaul kit. Any info on this subject would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Sam
The "O" ring on the KD shaft can be replaced by removing the nut and taking the arm off.
In order to replace the shift seal the pan and valve body must be removed.
