1987 F250 high idle problem
Greetings! I am trying to help out a friend with a high idle on his truck. He replaced the carb and it starts up fine. When he presses on the gas, the idle goes up and does not go down. In order to return the idle to normal, he has to switch off the ignition. When he starts up again, the idle is normal until he presses on the gas. He checked the carb throttle and the rpms go up and then return to normal. Any help would be really helpful!! (It is not fuel injected)
