I find it interesting that my Windstar has one touch down window, and i think some of the newer trucks do as well. I could be wrong but I think the ranger had that option... There has to be a way to hack the wiring in the SD to use whatever module/computer is required. Yes it is a 2 stage switch. You press it down until you feel pressure to use the window normally, or past to it's stop to use the one touch down.
My Carbine remote start/security system has among other things now
enabled one touch up and down on all 4 windows...Sweet... Also rolls them all back up upon locking...
I would look into the many systems that include the option....
Most are pretty inexpensive....

Since ading my viper 791xv alarm with all the bells and whistles, I now have this feature with all my windows not just the drivers side. In order for this to work you must buy a 2 modules that control the windows (up and down) with your remote.
Has anyone come up with a solution for this yet other than an aftermarket alarm/remote start? It seems to me that it would just be a reaplacement switch.
