A long time ago as a lil kid I dreamed of having an f150 like my dad and his dad. Well now its my turn. I just got a brand new f150 king ranch and i'm loving every bit of it! Sunroof, power folding mirrors, everything*,(*2x4 Where I live mountains and mud are rare) The color is copper I think. She rides tall and with pride and drives so smooth. With this I do have some questions(lots) to you veteran f150 owners.

1. On the steering wheel here the raio controls are at, how do you make that seek? button go from pre-set to pre-set instead of just jumping to the next station. The manual states it, but does not show you how?
2. My truck has 3.55 gear and a non lsd. Does that mean My truck is just not going to make it through the bumpy sometimes muddy path out at the ranch?
3. I already dropped in a k&n filter and on a 150 round trip going 65mph I averaged 19.2 per the computer, is that good, avearge?
4. It seems when you step on the pedal there is a slight deley in responce, Is this normal.
5. I would like a bit more performance out of this truck, and I am interested in the Diablo. Does anyone have experience with this programer and a screw 5.4? before/after 0-60, 1/4 mile? milage +/-?
6. what do you recomend for caring fr this beautiful leather.
7.I dont think the a/c is as cold as it should be. Would adding more freon help?
8. And by the way,..... the truck does not vibrate, sunroof has not leaked. brakes are great and my new 9005 silverstars are nice on the fogs!

NIce Truck. Neighbor has an 03 KR says he got some leather conditioner from the dealer, I really have never seen him use it and seats look great still.

The only one I might be able to help with is no. 4. I believe what you are experiencing could be normal. These truck now have electronic throttle control (drive by wire). There is no cable connecting accelerator pedal to engine. There is a slight delay in input and this may be what you are feeling.

As I've only had my 2005 since last Saturday, I'm not entirely up to speed on these trucks yet. If I'm incorrect on this, hopefully someone will be along shortly to correct it.

3 yes , 4 yes, 7 maybe . as for 7 if you don't think it is cooling well enough take it back and make them check it out. On my 04 larait screw inorder for it to really cool good I have to set the thing to 60 degrees and it seems to take a little longer than I think it should for it to get really cool . getting ready to take it in to have a few small things looked at and one if them is the AC

Just got my 05 King Ranch less than a week ago. I almost went with the copper color, but last minute i went with the white. I love this truck! I know you can order the leather conditioner from King Ranch. I remember seeing that info on the "leather info" tag that was connected to the driver seat. I just picked up some "Medallion. Premium Leather Care" from Meguiars. It seemed to do the job nicely. Good luck with your KR.
