insulation hood
Ok, another thing,the insulation from under the hood fell off,its thick stuff. Is it that important that I should reinstall it or leave it off.AS you cen tell I bought the truck a few months back to set it up to plow and I'm working the bugs out.Thanks for all the help.

All I know is that the hood insulation helps reduce noise and keep some of the heat in the engine compartment in cold weather. Your choice I guess if you want to pull it out and leave it out.

mine fell out two years ago. It was degraded to the point it just started to fall into pieces. Every time I refastened it, the next day it broke somewhere else and fell again. I removed it before a big chunk found it's way into the fan and tore up something like the brand new radiator (pronounced expensive) I just installed.
