sPEEDOMETER NOT WORKING

I have a 95 Bronco that I have recently put a 5 speed in. I am still useing the original transfer case but now my speedometer is not working. the push button 4 wheel drive still works. I had to cross a couple wires on the old automatic wiring harness to make the light on the shifter go out and make the truck run smother. dose anyone have any suggestions on how to get the speedometer working again?

I would suggest replacing your old computer with one for a manual transmission truck.

I am curently waiting for an ECM to come in the mail. I am having engine troubles too so I hope that will take care of both problems. thanks for the help.

Yes, the computer will solve both of your problems. The MLPS on your old tny had engine grounds in it too. THe old auto tranny wasa major part of how your truck ran. I know that because whenever I had a sensor problem on my 95 bronco the tranny never worked right. Good luck. let mw know how it turns out. If my e40d goes back i'm gonna look into a manual conversion.
