Nothing wrong with an IDI, but that sounds like a high price for that rig. The older Diesel Fords go for about 5-6K out here in Nor-Cal.
I paid 4K for my F-350, but I had to do a few things to it.

i think it sounds a little steep. Look on e-bay and truck trader to compare pricing

i paid 10000 for my F350 runs like new and had brand new tires (the ones on it now) and my buddy paid 6500 for his f250 auto w/ bald tires and runs like ****, shifts hard also. you get what u pay for thats my 2 cents

The year is a large part of what sets the price, and a 94 doesn't go for $9000.
I only got $2,000 out of my '84 and there wasn't a darn thing wrong with it, it was just old.

price is where you are, and what someone thinks its worth.
I bought my '88 f150 4.9 300/6 for $1,700 in 1998 in New York
I sold it today for $1,300, 7 years and 150,000miles later here in GA

course it still runs great.
man, I wish all my machinery would treat me like this.
