Fill 'er up

I just gased up my truck for the first time and noticed it doesn't have a flapper where you put the fuel nozzle in. Has anyone else noticed this? Is this normal? Just struck me as unusal. Thanks

Yup, just checked mine....no flapper.
I think Ford saved a few bucks.
