Lottery Systems

Hey guys. I was just wondering if anyone of you have tried to come up with a lottery system that you use. I heard on the radio a couple of weeks ago where that guy in Idaho (I think) won 200+ million in the Powerball lottery. He was in an interview on the radio and said he had a system that he came up with to play the lottery with. I have been studying the numbers from the past drawings, and have tried to pick numbers a few times, but I can't even hit one number!!! I am drawing a blank here. Does anybody here have a system they use?

I believe they've said Quic-Picks win more than pre-selected combinations.

I used to program for the MD State Lottery, and have hearad time and time again how certain people can tell when numbers are going to come up. In short, it is all b.s. There are a bunch of ***** with numbers on them that bounce around in a closed box. Whichever ones come to the top when they pull the ball, come to the top. There are several sets of ***** which are taken to the studio, and they are weighed before every drawing. No one knows which set of ***** is going to be used for each drawing. Like all gambling games, it is a game of chance. If you really want to have better odds, play the instant/scratch-off games. They have a better payout ratio. Or you could save your money instead of giving it to the state to blow.

Since you statiscally are more likely to be struck by lightning or killed by a flying champane cork, the best system is put the money in a piggy bank.

The above posters are right on.

Take the couple bucks you would normally put into the lottery each week and shove it into a coffee can. Then, once a year, put it into some kind of savings account or secure investment (ING, govt bonds etc). Then after twenty years, you'll have a few thousand bucks to spend on your truck. That's better than wasting your money on these schemes.

Sure some people win, but the vast majority of people will put far more into the lottery than they will every get out of it.

By the way, I've got a sure-fire system for roulette if casinos are your thing. If you loose your first bet, double your second and continue doubling until you win. It's "guaranteed" to win. Plus, the casino will treat you really nice when you spend all your money.

I don't have a system.

I just play quick pick/cash value.

I did win several years ago.

I retired.........for about 10 minutes (whooping $43.00)

Now I just play when it gets stupidly high; and just a buck at that.

I think Ca. just joined some sort of power ball lottery, but there's some sort of legality problem here.

Not sure what it is, though.

Well, the right thing to do is to save the money, I know, but there's always that chance, ya know? There's always that "what if" that runs through my mind all the time. But, I guess I should probably start putting the money I want to spend on the lottery in an account or something somewhere. Thanks for your replies!!
