Help me decide

Hey guys,tranny has been toast for a week.Still fighting with what to do.I would like to get a monster box but really don't have the means.Deciding if i should go with a rebult e4od with a sonnax, aluminum tranny pan and an upgraded cooler or should i try to install a manual?Any thoughts appreciated. I don't think i will ever tow more than 8-10k lbs and if that happened it would be seldom.By the way it's a 97 cc/lb/psd with 110k on it. Thanks

my 02 has a stock tranny but i added the sonnax and the tru-cool... the only other thing i would like to do is replace the tc with something more solid than stock.. i think a good rebuild with those three upgrades would be good for a long time... especially if you are only gonna do moderate towing... would probably be lots less headaches than doing a conversion to manual.. but i don't know anyone who has ever done that so i may be way off base... i wish i had a manual in my mule.. but other than a mushy tc my tranny feels real solid now...
