Thanks for the help!!
Thanks to everyone for your help in selecting the lift. It's just right for what I wanted, ride is as good/maybe a tad better than stock due to better shocks.
Me thinks maybe 315's are in order when the 305's wear out.........

(and yes, that's my '05 GT in the garage
what a fun daily driver)

I figure if I have kids, I have to buy them toys.
Honestly, I don't know how people do it. I guess you just do it and figure it out along the way!
Also, where'd you get the hitch relocator - online?
Funny thing about that Dodge ower, rolled the quad without a helmet and his face disappeared. What a shame. Poor guy

I had to cut 4 inches off the back end of the step bars. When I put them on, they were (imagine this) all the way to the wheel well. They didn't look quite right and looked like they would hit the tire as it flexed up. So out came Mr Sawzall and now they look 100% better and no clearance issue.
The hitch I got front ballmounts.com. They have them in 2 - 12 inch drops. I'll get a better pic of it and put it in the evolution gallery, it's the last pic in the gallery. It works great. You don't need any crazy custom ball mounts and it's good for 10K. Then you can just use an ordinary ball mount.
Yeah, I felt a little sorry for him, so I took his face out on PhotoShop. Figure I'd save him that little bit of dignity. I got some better ones of the actual crash photos, they're a little more.............graphic.

thanks for the hitch link, I know several people that can use that.
that quad weighs as much as both of mine. must do hunting with it. mine is a Suzuki 250R quadracer 2 stroke, built for speed and sand dunes. 1989 but looks and runs like brand new, but you won't get any hunting done on it (well, not the kind with guns anyway).

The bike you see wrecked is my old Suzuki Quad Master. Sold it to my crash buddy and in the 6 months he's had it, he's rolled it, broke it, bend it, and had me welding, cutting, and painting more than the 3 years I had it.
The bikes definitely have some weight to them, but nothing too bad. My Grizz and the wifes KingQuad are both a little over 600 lbs a piece. That's clean and dry. Pack on about 150 lbs of mud and slop and they are definitely up there. The Grizz will loft the front end fairly easily, it's real well balanced too. The wife just bought the new KingQuad. Breaking that in so haven't beaten on it, YET!
Down here, sport quads don't get you all too far. A few of my other bud's have sport bikes and I'm constantly pulling them out. I usually let them use mine to go hunt with. I'd hurt myself on a sport quad, that's why I got rid of the sport bikes. Well, that and the fact that the wife was gonna hurt me even if I didn't hurt myself. Hehe!
Maxey,
No problem brother! Good looking ride. Posted ya some comments.
