Both my sons have diesels, oldest with the 7.3, youngest with the 6.0. I have 4 brothers and a father that owns the 6.0
They have had no problems at all.
BTW - My oldest son has 412K on his and drives it everyday like it was brand new.
On Edit: I am, by far, the black sheep of the family. (No comments from you taterlogs out there...)

My '06 F250 Latiat Super Duty Crew with SB and PSD is one month "old" now, a little over 1,000 mi, leaving on a 3,000+ mi driving vacation next Wednesday, will have a better idea when I return but so far no regrets.
