99 Explorer lug nut torque

99 Explorer lug nut torque

This may have been answered somewhere else but does anybody know the correct torque for the wheel lug nuts? My handbook says 135 Nm (100 lb ft) but it sounds a lot to me.

Yes, 100 lb ft for lug nuts. It's been a 100 on all my Explorers, '91, '95 and '99.
