A couple of weeks ago my wife backed into my 03 Expy with our Honda Odysessy. I guess she forgot the Expy was bind parked in the drive way. The Expy took the brunt of the damage. We got the estimate for the van last week, 1300$ with bumper, taillight and quarter panel damage. The Expy will be looked at tomarrow, it has bumper, headlight, and fender damage. Maybe I can get them to repaint the body cladding while they are fixing it.
Similar damage occurred to mine. Make sure they separate the bumper before they paint it. My estimate was $2200. I also had issues with the shop with the way they put the front end back together. It was hanging too low with a large gap between the headlights, grill and the hood. I wound up taking delivery anyway after no luck arguing with the shop and realigned it myself. Looks great, again. BTW my wife has dragged the right mirror against the garage door entrance on her her last three cars. She does not drive the Expy.

MY wife got the estimate yesterday $2000. That's for a new (upper and lower) front bumper, rt headlight, and fender. The body shop is going to charge an additional $600 to redo the entire cladding, they are going to remove them, smooth, and paint to match the Expy. The bad thing about it,it does'nt go to the shop till September. So, I gotta drive around with the eyesore for over a month.
Jeez, are our wives all related? My wife rubbed the mirror on my old Camry with the front drivers-side fender of our '01 EB. I just got a quote of 1,000 to repaint the flare, fender and probably door. (For some reason they always have trouble matching the wedgwood blue paint, so they have to blend it into the surrounding paint.) There is no paint damage to the sheet metal but the body shop said the paintless dent removal guys wouldn't be able to get the whole thing out.
We are getting rid of it anyway, so the salesman that we just bought our 05 from setup up some deal with a guy to repaint the flare and pop out the small dent for 200. We'll see how it looks in a few days.
You could always do like Paul Sr. at OCC did, just hook up a chain, and rip off any unsightly parts.
