Cool 6.0 Problem....HELP!

I have an '04 F350 Super Duty with 41,000 km on it (owned just over a year now).

1st problem- started around 1 1/2 months ago. My truck would "surge" as I would be driving a constant speed. Then I went to turn at an intersection and it just shut off...it started fine but it has done this twice since. It also seems like it's "missing" as well. To date Ford has replace the fuel pump (wasn't the problem) and a sensor that regulates the exhaust pressure (wasn't the problem)
Any suggestions...injectors maybe?

2nd problem- This happened on Friday as I was heading down busy hwy for the long weekend with my 20' trailer. I was pulling up a hill, long but not overly steep reving 3000 rpm or under,...there was huge bang a wicked air sucking noise. A hose clamp holding the hose to my turbo snapped flying off and denting the support brace of my hood. I'm not overly familiar with turbo components but this hose connect to the galvanized pipe that exits at your grill. Anyways after waiting 1 1/2 hrs on the side of the road for a new clamp from a dealer I'm on my way and make it to my destination. Coming home yesterday the clamp blew off 3 more times. It seemed like as soon as I was pulling a hill and revs would be above the 2100 RPM (120 km/hr) it would blow!! Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

This could possibly be the first problem but, not sure it applies to Canadian delivered trucks.

Safety Recall 05S34, 2004 F-SuperDuty, Excursion and Econoline:
Affected vehicles are 2004 F-SuperDuty/Excursions built between 9-29-03 and 5-31-04, and Econolines built between 12-9-03 and 5-28-04. On all F-SuperDuties/Excusrsion the FICM harness will be inspected for chafing/damage. If damage is found, the harness will need to be replaced (estimated less than 2% of vehicles will require this action). If no damage is found a harness protection kit will be installed. On these trucks built between 12-1-03 to 5-31-04 the ICP sensor connector will be replaced due to the possibility of a poor crimp on the factory connector terminals. The Econolines covered under this recall only get a replacement ICP sensor connector.
Revised 7-6-05: The F-Seires and Excursions will have the FICM harness part number inspected. If the harness has a tag with "C97" on it, no FICM harness repair is necessary.

For the second problem try this:
Customer Satisfaction Program 05B29, 2004 F-SuperDuty and Excursion:
Trucks built between 12-15-03 and 3-31-04 with the plastic cold side intercooler tube with worm gear clamps (tubes marked "9 NM") are being recalled for replacement of the cold side tube. The replacement is an aluminized steel tube with silicone hose ends and T-bolt clamps, part number 6C3Z-6C640-AA. This recall will be in effect until 7-31-06, regardless of mileage.
2004/05 Trucks:
The recall does not apply to trucks built after 3-31-04 with the plastic tube and T-bolt clamps (marked "12 NM"). These trucks are covered by TSB #05-14-8, but the parts are the same.

Good luck.

This could also address the first problem...sometimes in tandum to what I already posted.

2003-05 Various Running Problems, Check Engine Light; New EBP Sensor:
Trucks built before 1-17-05 that exhibit buck/jerk, hesitation, lack of power, stalling, stumble, black smoke, surging, rolling idle, changes in engine sound at idle or when driving at a steady speed, or with the trouble codes P2263 or P0299, may have an exhaust backpressure sensor signal that is incorrect or erratic. A revised EBP sensor is available if this is found to be the case. Part number 4C3Z-9J460-A. Broadcast Message 3815.
Normal EBP signal reading should reflect atmospheric pressure with the key on/ engine off. Typically, this is 14.7 PSI/0.88-0.9 volts at sea level, decreasing one PSI/0.10 volt for every 2000 feet of elevation. It should be within 0.5 PSI of BARO and MAP sensor pressure signals.

Thanks...my truck goes to the dealer tomarrow for a scheduled oil change and now to address these other issues. Being on the side of a busy hwy with 17 month old baby with a severe thunderstorm coming is not fun...especially when on the radio comes an emergency broadcast that hail, strong winds and conditions are favourable for tornadoes to be imminent in the exact area we are sitting in! Coming home also wasn't fun with 35 degrees (celsius) heat, side of the highway and 3 million degrees under the hood! Well at least I got a bit of a tan!!!

They did replace the exhaust backpressure sensor...doesn't look like it fixed the problem.
