5.0L check engine light
96 Bronco runs like a dream but the check engine light comes on after 1 mile--exactly--when I run the AC. I get an air flow/egr @ ~60% throttle error code every time. Replaced the egr (twice-got a bad one from NAPA), O2 sensor, coolant sensor, air & fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap, tested vacuum lines-good, replaced brittle lines anyway. It does not idle down under AC load. Where do I go next?

I hate those stupid check engine lights, They come on an off for almost nothing, it could be cause your gas cap isn't tighted down anough, or your catalitic converter is a little cologged, After a while, if you don't change anything it will just quit coming on, and then a while latter it might come back on again.
For the trottle error code I don't know what you could do, cause it looks like you replaced everything exept for the computer.

is this a 302 engine? if so the egr tube comes out of the lower intake correct. its possible that some carbon has built up inside the manifold. you might run a can of seafoam thru the brake booster vac line and some thru your gas tank as well. then see if it clears up at all.
