Engine would fire right up then go dead just a quickly. It would run as long as I held the pedal down some. Fuel pump fuse is good. Good voltage at the fuel pump relay and pcm relay. I can hear the fuel pump 'whir' at the fuel fill port. Finally, I used a screwdriver and popped the inertia switch out (OFF) and then I pushed it back in. Now, the the engine runs just fine??? Any ideas? The inertia switch was down (I had to pull it up) so it wasn't tripped was it? Why would it work after I pulled it up and then pushed it back down??
Thanks!
Perhaps it had partially tripped and wasn't sending enough voltage to the fuel pump. If it acts up again, I would replace it.
Also, after driving for awhile, feel it and see if it is hot or warm, it could have a bad set of contacts in it.
