Zipper, have you pulled anything yet? My truck is doing the same. By the way, did you have trouble removing the fan clutch? What was the secret?

yes I have pulled my boat & camper and it was fine. My dad changed the fan clutch for me I had to work he said it was easy. Take your radiator out and take it some were and have it bolied out. cost me $85 The guy told me that you can flush it out with a water hose all day long and it will not help you have to have it boiled out.

I think it's more like an acid dip than "boiling" but the acid is hot, so ... whatever

You're right, backwash with a hose does nothing except to get rid of the old anti-freeze.

You are right krewt it is some kind of acid. But it does the job!!!!!
