help me please
I just bought a ford f 250 4x4. I am sure it is a 78 or 79. the problem is that the previous owner told me he lost the title. he is going to apply for a lost title. the problem is he insists the truck is a 73 because his has been using the vin off the door. it is 3f10ylr16245. that is for a f100. i need to find the vin stamped on the frame. so far i have looked on the top rail pass side from radiator to where the frames dips under the cab and cant find it. where else could it be. the motor has eight valve cover bolts, so i know its a 351 or 400. is there any easy ways to tell the difference.
