Im doin pretty good, i have just been caught up workin all summer, kinda sucks. But yea I ended up sellin the old 4.2 in may i think it was. After I wrecked it this past January I never really wanted it nemore after it got fixed so I ended up getting a 2005 ext cab 5.4L f150 in april and put my truck up for sale. My new truck is lookin pretty mean already, i have true duals angled out the back on 4" tips and it sounds awesome. I got some other stuff on it but I'll prolly get some pics in here sometime. how is everyone else?

my 4.2 is still here, i was doing some performance mods but i think i'm going to focus on the "show" aspect....i have it on 20's and 3/5 drop, but i want bags and 22s.
i thought about saving up for a lightning, and making the 4.2 a show truck...but i think instead of a lightning i'll save up for a 05/06 navigator (once i get a good job) and bagging that on 24's and throwing on a kenne bell twin screw blower. Riding in luxury and smoking imports.....
That's about me in a nutshell, haven't posted up for awhile either. Hell, i'll take this opportunity to say hello to Joe.
Hi joe! Long time no talk!
And brian.
Hey brian! Hows the 05?
And tom,
Hey Tom, i bet you'll never see this!! (luckily i've got his email and phone)
And garrett
Hey Garrett, how you be son?
Everyone else: Hey! Ford for life, right?

several of the major players here from a year or so back have drifted off.
I like the '05 pretty well. It has its good points and its bad points.
I like the convenience of the auto transmission but, in a way, the 2000 is just more enjoyable to drive.
After nearly 170,000 miles, it just "fits me". It's like a second skin, but maybe the '05 will grow on me that way too, over time.
It's slower here these days.
Summer, and fewer visits from the older riff-raff, er, I mean, uh, "regular contributors".

hmm..
Didn't know it had been made available yet.
I went to Ford's web page and did some looking.
I understand only the 3.31 rear end is offered with the 5 speed.
All other rear end ratios require the auto transmission.
That's a bummer. It would be a good option for a 5 speed and 3.55 or 3.73 rear end.

Yes it would be...I miss my 3.55 gears in the old one...I peeled out by accident the other day taking off fast coming out of my drive way..it has two solid...short...burn out marks on the road..both same size..Are these new ones limited slip?....my old one would only spin one tire at a time....which ever one had the LEAST amount of traction spun...But the 3.31 would explain why the truch does't accelerate as fast as my old one...
