I don't think I'm going nuts but wasn't there a link to someone
who had done an oil filter study on here somewhere.
It was an unbias study of about 20 different filters.
Anyway,
I can't find it now and wanted to print it out.

yes, i started a topic on this and we discussed it, but some ppl who were avid fram supports started a fight... i posted purly my opnion and here it is... have fun!
p.s. there is ALOT of good info and ideas between the post and the study.. this guy did a good job of laying it all out and supporting his thoughts with facts.
Thanks Matt, The second site was the one I was talking about,
but now that someone mentioned a Jeep site it may have been
there because I also have a Jeep Liberty and my wife is registered
with L.O.S.T.
Thanks again that was the info I was looking for.
One other qusetion, I remember many moons ago when I was
heavy into racing we stopped using Quakerstate oil because they had a real bad sudsing problem and haven't used it since. Is that still a problem.
Dave
i dunno, i use valvoline, no problems... my dirt track car loved it, even after all the rpms and heat i never used any oil, every once in awhile i would leak some, but hell, at 280 + degrees for up for 15 min i prolly would too!
