i have a 93' f-150 ext. cab but nowhere to put any subs.. there is no room uner the back bench seat and i dont want to take the back seat out like i did to my 88' ext. cab.. i tried to see if there were any kind of stealth boxes made for that old of a truck but the earliest they go for f-150's is 97'. does anyone know how i could possibly fit something anywhere in the truck without taking out the back seat?..i realy dont need the subs to beat really hard i just want something that will sound clear and just add to the sound quality.. thank you
Try looking at some of the amp/sub combo's.. they're not great but they do give you the lower frequencies. A lot of them are small enough to fit under your seat.
Also - Welcome to FTE. There's a lot of people here that will help ya out.
What I was considering if I had bought that style F-150 was forgoing the rear center seat and making a floor center console that would have a couple of cup holders and maybe a 10" woofer in it. Never got much passed the idea stage though.
i was thinking though... if i put a sub up front say between the console and the dash, would it overpower everything else when i try to turn the bass up to a noticable level? i was thinking maybe a 12'' kicker L5 pointing toward the rear... i was thinking maybe it would give it a different look as well as just give me a place to put the sub.. thank you
thanks for the welcoming everyone...

If you put a sub up front aim it down & it shouldn't overpower your front speakers. I have 2/8s under my back seat firing down & you can't tell where they are in my truck.
