Fellow down the street has a 2002 (I think. Maybe 2001) Sorento. It seems to be the best vehicle on the whole street. For sure less problems than my F150 and the wife's Escape. He is so happy with it, that they bought a new Sportage for the wife. I can't believe the features you get for the price. A good 6K less then our Escape. And they are made in the US of A.

Resale values are still terrible. But so what? If you're happy with it, keep it.

Given the low resale values, I think I could make a compelling argument that they'd make a fine used car buy.

And with a HUGE warranty still left...
Very compelling.

Yes. The warranty is something else.

Hyundai is coming out with a new Santa Fe. Looks great. And how about the new Sonata? Is that a beauty or what?

And didn't Hyundai come first in initial quality in J.D. Powers reports?

The Koreans are getting ready to give the Japanese a run for the money.

Lots of them driving up here in Canada. Awesome warranty, but you sure see alot of 3-5 yr old Hyundi's and Kia's burnin blue up here. My EX just traded her 98 CRV for a new Santa Fe so we'll see how that works. I personally don't like the overly plasticy feel, but wow is it ever equipped well. Being that it's a lease vehicle ( she needs it for her business ) the right offs help too. So far after 1 week no issue's......more to follow.
