Question

poor fit
The 2002 bed is wider in the front than in the rear. Just look at the top of the black plastic rail protectors to get an idea of how much, I recall it is almost 3 inches wider in the front. The 95 bed was a true rectangle bed and the shell will not fit properly, but you might be able to clamp it on if the looks don't matter.

poor fit
I am not sure if the rear width is the same on the two trucks. I seem to remember that the older trucks are a bit wider. You also may have a lenght problem.(no pun intended) I was trying to use an older Ford shell on a SD and decided to pass. You are right about the rails showing in the front.

Yeah, the slight bed dimensional differences are annoying.
My brother has a shop where he has 5 PSDs (one in an E250) and one Dodge V10 long bed, along with various smaller and bigger trucks. When he picked up the Dodge, he pulled off the nice fiberglass bed cover because he didn't need it. I set it on my Superduty bed. It is way too narrow at the front, then widens in the middle, but is again too narrow at the rear.
I was so hoping it would work because bed covers are ridiculously expensive. Oh, well.
