Problem with 2005 PSD! (Joke so please don't flame)
Just picked up my new 2005 xlt sport supercab and the dealer went through the 1000 mile breakin period with me (varying speeds, not towing, not driving fast). The problem is I can't seem to keep the thing under 65mph. Has anyone else had this problem?
I've considered things like cutting my right foot off, finding an old lady to drive behind, driving during peak rush hour times.
I just don't know what to do, the best solution is probably going to be showing the truck off to all my friends across the state so I can run up the miles ASAP.
Well as a pre-med student i can tell you we see lots of people with this syndrome. It mainly occurs in the metatarsals and in between the Calcaneus and Talus bones. We beleive the reason this happens is because the speed limit is not high enough for these sweet trucks. I agree with Kw it is incurable as of now but we have smart people workin on it. One solution we have found though is cuttin the Ligament to relieve peddle "flooring". Thats the medical stand point on it. get better soon.
The price of diesel fuel has done a bunch to keep my foot out of it! Place the money it takes to fill up in your right sock and it will hurt the ball of your foot when you push too hard - aversion therapy according sweetheart who is a psychologist. She likes the truck better than her fancy jeep. A shrink who is a cowgirl - life is good!
I've noticed diesel fuel is getting cheaper in my area (connecticut). It use to be 10 cents higher than premium gas (maybe a month or two ago) and right now it's the same as mid grade gas. Has anyone else seen diesel prices drop recently?
Stephendecker, where do u find your diesel for a cheaper price? Im in CT also and seem to be in the area of 2.59-2.61. not fun when it costs u close to 100 to fill the tank
Don't hold me to this, but I believe about 5 days ago I saw diesel for 2.47 at the gas station right by buckland pavilions in manchester, ct (the big shopping center). It is next to the John Harvards and the new Hooters.
If you're close go see if I'm correct, if not you can drown your sorrows over some beer and breasts at hooters.
I'll be filling up in the next two days, and will probably be going back that way so I can update the price.
I've also seen diesel up in mass for under 2.40 (Agawam, MA)
Where do you live, I'm in Suffield or East Hartford most of the time, depends if the girl friend boots me out for talking about spending my money on the truck instead of her.
oh really, if so .10 is a pretty good drop, Im in Rocky Hill, 10 min from Harford, but work mostley in West Hartford, i see 2.59 in my town and then in west hartford at shell, i saw it go from 2.65 to a now 2.81, witch is rediculous.
My truck is new enough that I haven't had to stop by the pumps yet. I'm positive that I've seen it inline with middle grade gas at 2-3 stations and at a few more it's been inline with premium. I've watched as my brother with a TDI Jetta fueled up at prices 10 to 15 cents higher than premium.
