i got the urethane bushings and with those you leave the factory sleeve in the beam and cut out the old rubber bushing and clean it real good and slide the urethane one into the beam and sleeve. was pretty simple.

How hard is it to remove the old rubber and how did you do it?
i took a hacksaw blade and made slices in it, then i made cuts at angles until i got enough out to get a dremmel grinder in and the rest came out easy. i used the dremmel to clean it with a sanding drum too. cleaned out nice and just lubed the new bushing before i put it in and i just slid in with a good push.
