How easy is it to twist the ibeam? bounced of bridge and went into ditch today and bushings on radius arm are pushed through. And steering link is bent a bit.Can get new ibeam and radius arm for 100
That price is jy that will pull it. I don't think it's twisted. I'll get pics tomorrow. Can it be like that because it's not being pushed forward by radius arm?
im assuming from your name, you have a coil sprung f150. take some measurements from the radius arm eye to eye...that will help tell the story if its bent.
do you have a nice flat surface to park the truck on? like a smooth concrete pad?
take the wheels off, and use an angle finder on both knuckles (ball joint to ball joint). they should be close, like within a degree or two of one another.
Damn, you tore that thing up pretty good. I'd say it's likely the beam is bent, just judging by the pictures. Doesn't mean it is, after all I'm looking at pictures. The only way to know for sure, if you can't eagle eye it for straightness, is to out it all back together with fresh pivot bushing and radius arms then do your measuring/eyeballing.
It appears straight. Only thing crinkled is radius arm at I beam. Plus the bracket. at least I'll need new arm, mount, bushings, shock, steering link and tie rod maybe. I'll get better pics
fix all that stuff and then take measurements/take pics. if you cant tell with the ole eagle eye that its bent, gotta put it all back together to confirm.
