rear ac problems

Hi,

I had my 2002 explorer rear ac fixed at the dealer last year in August under warranty. Now the thumb is back and they tell me that the blend motor is what they fixed last year. Now it is the blend door in the rear back near the third row seats. Of course, this is not covered under my extended warranty. Any help would be appreciated. When you put on rear ac it thumbs and when turned off it continues.

How would I fix this?

Daisy

The blend door thump is fairly common. The blend door motor uses plastic gears which strip out, causing the motor to keep turning when it should stop.
