t/c lock up switch

I have already wired up the switch and led but I am having trouble finding the right wire to tap for the torque converter. My truck is an '03 7.3L and it has five connectors on the wheel well under the master cylinder. There are two grey ones and neither are foward most. Nearly every connector has a purple with yellow tracer so I am very stumped now. How can I check to make sure and get right wire? Can I trace it from the transmission?

Yes, the wire set going to/over the trans has the wire in it. I tapped in there and ran my wire up into the cab to the switch from there. Easier to get at, don't need 4 ft. long 1" thick arms. lol.
