TTB third member swap
I purchased a TTB D44 third member (sort of by accident).
The third member is from a different year truck, it uses different axle seals. Beside that it looks like it'll bolt up just fine.
Will a TTB third member from a 19?? f-150 fit on my 1995 f-150?

Some used a c clip to hold the stub shaft and some early ones used a 3 bolt bearing retainer to hold the stub shaft. Going by the fact my 82 had the three bolt set up, I would think the 80 and 81 would be the same. My 84 used the c clip so I have no idea what the 83 is. After 84 at least, it is a c clip.

I guess i'll just have to take it to the auto parts store and see which axle seal fits, this may give me a better idea of what year it is.
