For dial up users all they have ever had to do was unselect download images in thier options menu, and instead of the image coming up the link is printed then if they so choose they can click on it and download it at that time, and if they would use this then everyone would be happier since everyone can then have it just the way they like it.
It does work cause I just did it with my options then went to a post that I knew had a picture, and the link to the picture showed up instead of the actual picture.
just a thought instead of making everyone suffer for the few that either can't, or don't want to pay for faster internet (and yes I totally understand that many areas can not infact get faster internet at all) this option was put in for just this type of issue.
Maybe I am way off base and if so feel free to tell me where I am wrong but since I switched to DSL I find that having to constantly click on links is irritationg, and most times means I end up not looking at the pictures, and probably miss a lot of really cool stuff.
This is my biggest update yet, so there aren´t no captions to the pictures (yet), but they´ll be on soon enough, i´ll be putting up some more pictures of this trip soon.
UPDATES:
- 43 new pics!
- No captions (yet)
P.S.: You´ll love this ones BigF!!! i´ll give you later this week some links to a pair of videos we recorded
