truck ID

Trucks of the 50's on up got F- names or numbers. What are older ones ID'd by, like the 32-41's, just call 'em Early V-8's??~JH

You could call them Early V8's. Ford trucks up to '48 had no model names. Most you could find might be Tonner for the 1 tons, and Express for 1 ton pickups. These are what Ford call them back when they were new. As a side note, the '42-'47's are sometimes referred to as Jailbars becasue of the desgin of their grilles.
