why Ford Racing? There are some great choices out there besides the sometimes overpriced Ford Racing parts. You might try getting a set of 93-95 Lightning headers like I did. I found them on Ebay for $90 a pair.

I havent installed mine yet but I was thinking that they are for the gt40 heads and may not fit on regular 5.8 heads. I will be installing the gt40 set up soon so that is why I have them. so make sure and check that out lvmyf-150 before you purchase them.

I got a pair of stainless ford racing shorties out of summit for $305.I love them, you get what you pay for IMO..

I agree with getting the Ford racing shorty headers, I've had mine over two years and they still look and work great.

The ford headers are made of 409 stainless which is a grade of stainless which is good for 100,000+ miles. They will eventually develop some surface rust though. I am swaying between the fords and summits. Summits are fairly stout and should last a long time, but stainless just screams forever. Let me know what you decide
