the max ranger tow

What is the max anyone has towed with a ranger? Or hauled?

I towed 3500 pounds from Denver to Detroit. 4.0L M/T 4x4 3.73 axle. Had to start out in 4Low to get rolling up some steep grades. Cruised at 70, but the gas mileage was 13 mpg. This was about the max GCW recommended in the owners manual, 7000 pounds.

He has the 2.3 and a stick, i wouldnt tow much more than 1000 lb's with it personally.
