need help finding a piston!

need help finding a piston!

I have a piston with a broken skirt. The only indentification i see is 1181 02 inside the piston and a 2 on the outside. .030 is crappily stamped on top. Anybody know who makes this piston?

SILVOLITE has a 1181 but its for a 1.6 litre 1981-85 so I don't think thats it, what engine is the piston out of?

its a 390 piston. Looks like a standard car piston.

you sure that's not 1131 stamped on it.....that's a silvolite number

1131 is a Silvolite 390 piston check it again

i'm pretty sure its a 8. I think the pistons are 224-1713-30 clevites, but i will check out the kb's.

yep we have a winner! They are the 1131 silvolite's, thanks! I still think the 3 looks like an 8.
