First thing would to find, borrow, buy you a fuel pressure testing gauge. Hook it up to shchrader valve on fuel rail. And test for fuel pressure. Sounds like a fuel problem though. Hang in here, you might get a few other suggestions.
I have 86 F150, 302 efi . It has what I call a dead spot in the accellerator where it will lope like it has a fuel problem or a clogged filter. It only does this at a certain speed, i.e. about 20 mph sustained speed. Filter has been replaced and fuel pressure checked normal. I've had it for 3 years and I have spent a ton of money on various parts which have done nothing to fix the problem. I am more aquainted with carbureted vehicles and if it were carbureted, I would say ithe carb is worn out and is sucking air. I know little about efi, however, and I dont know if a worn out throttle block would do the same thing. I replaced the idle air control on it but that didn't do anything , nor did the new tps. I have decided to stop spending money and drive. It starts and runs fine except for this one small problem. I believe you can dollar and dime yourself broke trying to fix one of these old trucks with a primitive electronics system. No codes are stored.

thanks for the reply,i replaced the fuel pump, filter, and pressure valve but still nothing, maybe it got a bad pressure valve think im going to try the test gauge thing ,any other suggjestions? im open lol ,next i replace the motor lol
Don't forget to reboot the computer after you changed your parts and do the 30 min road test to reset all your sensors...30 min battery disconnect, then road test. Get a digital code reader, and post your codes after the rebooting and road test...you might get it fixed sooner instead of throwing parts at it and wasteing your money...
I had my dizzy cap off for inspection. Found a flaky plug wire while at it. I put the cap back on, a few days later I noticed I clicking that could be felt in the distributor. I found one side wasn't even connected, I put it on wrong! Just something to check.
