Quiet warning chime

The warning chime in my 1991 f150, can barely be heard. This is the beeping when you leave your lights on or your keys in the ignition. How do I fix this? Thanks.

A lot of people just let it die and don' worry about it. It should be under the dash on the right side of the steering wheel. Just unplug it and put the new one in.

i thought the exact same thing! you could sell that old one to someone on this forum.

I have the harsh dual-buzzer type. I disconnected the whole thing about a week after buying the truck. Had been meaning to ask if there's any easier-on-the-ears plug-in replacement?
