Motor Mount Help

I have a truck with six cylinder engine in it. I want to put in 302 so I will need mounts from a 73 to 79. My question is how much lower are the 302 mounts compared to six cylinder or big block mounts. Lots of trucks sitting without motors so its hard to tell what mounts they are. Any help would be great.

The metal towers that the rubber mounts bolt to are the same, but the are bolted to the crossmember in a different set of holes. I can't remember which motor uses which, but it may be obvious. I think the rubber mounts themselves are different w/ different motors, but I like to put new ones in when I'm overhaulin' anyhow. I'm not sure if the towers on a 73-79 are the same.

BB1, The 302 mounts are swept back kinda like Cs. As far as I know no other engine uses it. I think it was 69 for the first year using the 302 and you can go up to 79.

happy hunting
